Managerial Responsibilities
Finance and directing of marketing-The company has people to direct and manage their marketing campaigns and has their finances for sorted out. Advertisements such as television commercials, radio scripts and digital advertisements need to be planned and paid for by the company.
Management of packaging innovation- Coca Cola’s packaging is very important and they continuously try to innovate their packaging. They have people manage this department, in order to successfully innovate their packaging and do things, such as making their packaging more environmentally friendly.
Management of communications and relations- Coca Cola has employees that manage internal and external communication for the company. They also have management over the relationships they have with other industries such as the recycling industry, the government and consumers.
Control of foreign divisions- Coca Cola has 5 continental divisions: Eurasia & Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America and Pacific division. Each of them control sub-divisions in their region, but still function the same way and are tightly controlled by Coca Cola’s main head office.
